I'm always telling friends how much Michael continued to give me, right up until his last days. <br /><br />I want to remember these things, especially when I am so grief stricken. Sometimes I get so caught up in my own grief in the here and now, I forget how looking at the situation in a different way can result in a new, more positive mindset (at least for awhile anyway!).<br /><br />This post made me reflect on all that I learned from my husband as he battled his illness. Kind of how Michael inspired you to look back on your extra time together as "bonus time."
